Our Mission

We are committed to ensuring that broadband Internet is accessible to all Americans. Here are the actions we are taking to turn this belief into reality.

Champion for Consumers

Our aim is to simplify the process of finding the optimal broadband service and to achieve this, we develop tools designed to assist consumers in their search.

However, that's only the beginning. At our essence, we advocate for the consumer.

This involves:

1) Ensuring transparency in government data and research.

2) Collecting IP-verified customer reviews and ratings.

3) Promoting competition by enhancing awareness of local providers.

More Than Just Policy

Annually, substantial funds are allocated by the US government and ISPs to gather data regarding the state of our nation's broadband, influencing policy decisions. Regrettably, despite the public availability of this data, it proves challenging to access, and comprehend, and is excessively intricate, rendering it less user-friendly for everyday consumers.

Consider, for instance, the distinction between a census tract and a census block. It's likely that you, like many others, might not be familiar with the difference. This is precisely why we invest significant time processing pertinent government (and proprietary) data, encompassing all 453 billion rows, with the goal of rendering it easily accessible for customers. This enables them to make well-informed decisions.

Future Focused

In the present era, our lives are intricately woven with the internet. However, a significant number of consumers are not fully acquainted with the legislative landscape and technological advancements, and the potential consequences these might have on our daily lives. This is why we see it as our responsibility to bring attention to these issues.

Despite technological advancements, the United States continues to fall behind many other nations in terms of broadband penetration and access speeds. Shockingly, there are still 874,222 Americans without access to ANY broadband (3mbps or higher) connection, even wireless. Consequently, one of our primary objectives is to shed light on underserved areas, aiming to raise awareness and cultivate healthy competition.
